MYBRUSSSH
Water flosser or electric toothbrush? What is each one for?
A water flosser and an electric toothbrush do not perform exactly the same task. The brush cleans tooth surfaces and the area around the gumline, while the water jet can be directed towards interdental spaces and other harder-to-reach areas. The practical question is therefore not always which one to choose, but how to make both steps part of a sustainable daily routine.
What does an electric toothbrush do?
A sonic electric toothbrush uses rapid bristle movement for mechanical cleaning. Good technique still matters: guide the head slowly along the outside, inside and chewing surfaces of the teeth. There is no need to scrub hard; the bristles and motor do the work.
What does a water flosser do?
A water flosser uses a directed stream of water. Guide it along interdental spaces, the gumline and harder-to-reach areas to help flush away food debris. This can be convenient where ordinary bristles do not fit well.
Why combine them in one device?
- Fewer devices take up space beside the sink.
- Brushing and water-jet cleaning are easier to make part of one routine.
- With the 2-in-1 head, there is no need to change heads between those two steps.
- The integrated removable water tank eliminates the need for a separate countertop unit.
On MYBRUSSSH ONE, the water exits between the brush-head bristles. You can activate it while brushing and aim it towards the spaces between your teeth. The additional heads in the box also allow a separate water-flossing or more precise cleaning step.
A simple routine
- Fill the removable tank with clean water at a comfortable temperature.
- Select a comfortable mode; begin gently when using the product for the first time.
- Guide the brush head slowly along the teeth without pressing hard.
- Aim the water jet briefly towards interdental spaces while leaning over the sink.
- After use, empty and rinse the tank and the head.
Does it replace every other form of care?
No home device replaces regular dental check-ups or personalised advice from a professional. The water jet is intended to complement an at-home routine. If you experience bleeding, pain, have implants, recent dental work or braces, ask a dental professional for personalised guidance.
